Scott here, back and ready to rock with three stylish Pet Monkey shows this coming Thursday thru Saturday Let me begin by saying how much I appreciate all the Pet Monkey fellas for filling in working harder and letting me take an easier road these past few months as I recover from February’s open heart surgery. Along with my wife Jessica, Tyler, Todd, Doug, David and Rick have personified not only what music and commitment, but also what love truly means and it will forever choke me up to know how when times were tough and the chips were down all of them had my back. How blessed I am to be doing exactly what I love with guys I couldn’t love more.
That being said now on to the events:
Thursday (April 28th) beginning at 7 pm Pet Monkey will take the stage once again for the Orleans Dogwood Festival This has become an annual event for us and, although our schedule this year has us on a Thursday as opposed to a Friday, we are looking forward to fun festival times with rides, elephant ears and my personal favorite the lemon shake-up! Just get on State Road 37 head south and when you hear Pet Monkey playing look for a place to park Life won’t get much easier than that!
Friday (April 29th) has us back at one of our favorite Bloomington locations: the Moose Lodge on Cory Lane just north of 2nd Street Good food, reasonable and tasty libations and Pet Monkey’s four-hour show make this a Friday evening not to miss! We will take the fabulous Moose Stage at 8:00.
Saturday (April 30th) we get to bring out our most rockin’ gear for a night at Skid Row in Spencer The show begins at 9 pm and you can expect four hours of Monkey Mayhem, especially in honor of first chair guitarist Tyler Parker’s birthday! Come get your ya-ya’s out and wish Tyler an awesome birthday.
I also want to let everyone know we have booked another show with the good folks of Mallow Run Winery in Bargersville. June 4th will find us playing a fun outdoor three-hour show Mark your calendars for an event that just screams Pet Monkey Summer!
Hope to see everyone for one (or all) of these shows I thank you Pet Monkey thanks you And your country thanks you.
