Wow. I haven’t been on here in quite some time and, please, accept my apology. I’ve just been busy with other things in my life and have missed out on the opportunity to blog about Pet Monkey shows at the Player’s Pub in Bloomington, Phat Guys in North Vernon, and festival shows in both Ellettsville and Stinesville. Briefly, we’ve been doing well and the shows were all fun and we appreciate those who attended.
The Players Pub show, as they all are there, was great fun for an appreciative crowd. Phat Guys gave us the opportunity to play in the town where drummer Todd grew up and the folks there treated us all like family. It’s safe to say they have their own way of partying in Jennings County and we all loved the chance to experience it. The Monroe County Fall Festival event was the one year anniversary of our first show and we really enjoyed playing for such a mixed age audience. The Stinesville performance was a Thursday evening but Bruce Peyton brought a great sound system and Rick Flick was making us look like rock stars with his impressive light show, so playing for this appreciative crowd was easy.
We also are please to announce our first show in Nashville this Friday evening at the Season’s Lodge. Our performance hours are from 8:30 to 12:30 and, having played there recently with my Scott So Low Acoustic Show, I can tell you this is a neat venue. In fact, Dave, Tyler, Doug and I have all played there previously with other groups. Also, we’ve booked another new venue in Johnson County. Look for us late in November at CG’s Sports Pub in Bargersville.
Check out the ‘Video’ link at the top of the page for a new demo video that was created by Andrea Langeveld, to whom we are surely in debt for all the time it took to create this professional package.
That about wraps it up for now. We have practice scheduled, so if you have a request, now is the time to email it to us for consideration. Also, if you are needing entertainment for your holiday parties or celebrations, drop us an email and we’d love to be of service.
Until the next time, enjoy the weather.
